Exploring the Five Senses
During unit 3 of our storybook, we followed the international school gang on a visit to the park, and they told us about their favorite things to do there.
Suzy loves to see the flowers, Linda loves to listen to the birds, Anne loves to smell the flowers, Michael loves to take off his shoes and feel the grass under his feet, and by the end of the day, everyone was hungry and thirsty. That's how we discovered our five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste; it's through them that we explore the world around us.
We did several activities related to this theme, and today we're here to show the most fun ones involving smell and touch that the children loved. In one of them, we used our noses to smell various items (flowers, a marker, coffee grounds, wet wipes, a Lego, and a teddy bear), and we classified them as good or bad smells.
In another activity, we used our hands to discover what was inside the black box, which was a very nice experience. We even took off our shoes and walked around the school to feel the floor textures. And that's how the children of Maternal II discovered the five senses.
Explorando os cinco sentidos
Durante a unidade 3 do nosso livro de histórias, seguimos a turminha do international school em uma visita ao parque onde eles nos contaram suas coisas preferidas de fazer lá.
Suzy ama ver as flores, Linda ama ouvir os pássaros, Anne ama cheirar as flores, Michael ama tirar os sapatos e sentir a grama nos pés e ao final do dia estavam todos com fome e sede. E foi assim que descobrimos os nossos cinco sentidos, visão, audição, olfato, tato e paladar, é através deles que exploramos o mundo à nossa volta.
Foram feitas diversas atividades seguindo essa temática, hoje viemos mostrar as mais divertidas envolvendo olfato e tato que as crianças adoraram.
Em uma delas usamos nosso nariz para sentir o cheiro de diversos ítens (flor, marcador, pó de café, lencinho umedecido, lego e ursinho) e os classificamos entre cheiros bons e ruins.
Em outra atividade usamos nossas mãos para descobrir o que estava dentro da caixa preta, foi uma experiência bem legal. Ainda tiramos nossos sapatos e caminhamos pela escola para sentir as texturas do chão.
E assim, as crianças do Maternal II descobriram os cinco sentidos.
