Environment Day

As part of our routine, every Monday the students from Pre II C go to our School´s library to learn in a different way. We use LEGO as a tool so they can use their imagination and create by themselves.

In the Library they sit around the tables, receive a box full of LEGO pieces and the teacher ask them to create something from the lessons we have previously studied in our classroom. On May 29th, we talked about the 3Rs (Reuse, Recycle and Reduce) and the Environment Day, which we celebrate on June 5th. They had come up with an action that we can do in our daily routine to help our Planet Earth. It was fun!

Dia do Meio Ambiente

Como parte da nossa rotina, todas as segundas-feiras os alunos do Pré II C vão até a biblioteca da nossa escola para aprender de uma forma diferente. Utilizamos o LEGO como uma ferramenta para que eles possam usar sua imaginação e criar por eles mesmos.

Na biblioteca sentam-se em torno das mesas, recebem uma caixa cheia de peças de LEGO e a professora pede para criarem algo a partir das lições que já estudamos anteriormente em sala de aula. No dia 29 de maio, conversamos sobre os 3Rs (Reutilizar, Reciclar e Reduzir) e o Dia do Meio Ambiente, comemorado em 05 de junho. Eles criaram uma ação que podemos fazer em nossa rotina diária para ajudar o nosso Planeta Terra. Foi muito divertido!
